The Bristol Rugby Academy aims to unite and inspire the city through rugby.
Since 2001, forty-two Academy players have featured for Bristol Rugby in the top flight and at Championship level, with a number of players representing England at U16, U18 and U20 level.
Current England senior squad members Dave Attwood, Ellis Genge and Mako Vunipola are former Academy graduates, while Luke Eves and Callum Braley are former captains of England U20s.
More than 750 players from U13 to U18 are currently engaged in the Developing Player Programme (DPP) and Player Development Group (PDG), with regular coaching sessions at the Clifton RFC training base and around the city.
In 2011, Mike Hall joined Bristol as Academy Manager. Together with the appointment of former players Mark Irish and Sean Marsden, as well as the Coach and Player Development Manager Gary Townsend, the Club is ensuring that the stream of homegrown players continues into the future.
The Academy fixture lists are comprehensive and include regular tournaments across the country. With the addition of the A League, the next generation of Bristol players will continue to be exposed to the highest standards of rugby.
