Trio join Hartpury on loan agreement

Three of Bristol’s young players have joined fellow Greene King IPA Championship side Hartpury on a loan agreement for the remainder of the season.

Centre Sam Bedlow, as well as wingers George Perkins and Aaron Chapman make the switch to College Stadium.

Neither Bedlow and Perkins have made competitive appearances for the club this season after enduring an injury-hit start to the campaign.

19 year-old Chapman – who is currently away on England U20s duty – has impressed in his debut season, scoring three tries in four competitive appearances.

Head coach Pat Lam said: “Hartpury requested players on loan and we were happy to support. The opportunity for these guys to get some quality game-time in the Championship is outstanding. "Injuries is part and parcel of the game, but credit to Sam [Bedlow] and George [Perkins], they've worked hard to get back and now the key thing is game-time."All three will benefit from playing regularly and it's a good opportunity to do that at Hartpury."
