Team news: Bristol Rugby U18s v London Irish U18s

Bristol Academy U18s target a return to winning ways when London Irish U18s visit SGS College on Saturday (1.30pm KO).

Mike Hall’s men have suffered three successive defeats in the U18s League ahead of the penultimate fixture of the competition.

Bristol make three changes from the side that went down to Harlequins last weekend, as Soloman Hutchings comes into the midfield, while Sean Ihegie and Ben Tothill are named in the pack.

“The guys fought hard last weekend and were disappointed that we didn’t close the game out late on. With another home clash this week, it’s a chance for an immediate response so we’re looking for a positive reaction,” said Academy backs coach Sean Marsden.

“For any supporters who aren’t making the trip to Vallis Way, I’d encourage as many as possible to come and support the Academy players in action.”
