Six Players Commit To Bristol Rugby

Six players have agreed contract extensions with Bristol Rugby as Andy Robinson’s squad for the 2016/17 campaign begins to take shape.

Argentinian international Gaston Cortes commits for two years, while long-serving fly half Adrian Jarvis signs a one-year deal.

Jack O’Connell and Max Crumpton agree two-year extensions, while Ryan Edwards and Nick Koster sign on for a further twelve months.

“To have a further six players show their loyalty to Bristol Rugby is pleasing and underlines the positive environment we have fostered at the Club,” Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told

“We are trying to build a squad with a blend of young players and experienced heads who we believe can perform at the highest level.

“Gaston Cortes shows a great attitude and shows consistently that he is one of the most formidable scrummagers in the Championship. Adrian Jarvis is an established member of the squad and has earned a new deal through his performances in a Bristol shirt this season.

“Max Crumpton and Ryan Edwards are two young guys with a lot of potential and hunger to improve, while Nick Koster and Jack O’Connell have been two of our stand-out performers in the opening half of the Championship campaign.

“We’re eager to keep further members of the current squad and are working hard to retain their services for next season and beyond.”
