Report: Bristol Ladies 8-12 Loughborough Lightning

Bristol Ladies remain sixth in the table after slipping to defeat at the hands of Loughborough Lightning.

Ellie Mulhearn came on as replacement for the Bristol Ladies and got over the line from short range, Reed was unable to convert the score but did step up and kick a penalty early on.

The Lightning, who had former Bristol Ladies player Sarah Hunter starting at eight, got on the board twice through winger Lizzie Adams as well as full-back Carys Williams, Hannah Phillip added the conversion.

A disappointing result for the Ladies but they now have a three week break from the Tyrell’s Premier 15’s whilst the international fixtures take place.

The next fixture for the Bristol Ladies will be away to DMP Sharks on Saturday 2nd December (4pm KO).
