Pat Lam to attend Community Foundation’s Lockleaze Christmas camp

Youngsters attending Community Foundation’s Christmas holiday camp at Lockleaze can look forward to a festive surprise, with Bristol Rugby head coach, Pat Lam set to attend.

Lam will attend one day of the Bristol-based camp, which takes place on Monday, December 18th and Tuesday, December 19th, to meet youngsters and pass on his wealth of rugby knowledge.

A Samoan international during his playing days, Lam won the 1997-98 Premiership with Newcastle Falcons and the 2000 Heineken Cup as captain of Northampton Saints.

As a coach, Lam spent five years as head coach of Auckland and four years as head coach of Blues Super Rugby, before joining Connacht in 2013, where he won the Pro14 title in 2015/16.

Hornets RFC in Weston-super-Mare will also host a camp during the Christmas holiday, on Wednesday, December 20th and Thursday, December 21st, with players from Bristol Rugby expected to attend.
