Bristol Duo Extend Contracts Until 2018

Olly Robinson and Ollie Dawe have agreed new deals as the Club reveals its first batch of contract extensions.

Olly Robinson joined from Moseley in 2014 and was Bristol Rugby’s top scorer for two successive seasons in the Greene King IPA Championship.

The 25 year-old – the first Bristolian to captain the Club in the Premiership since Craig Short in 2006 – has scored 31 tries in the blue and white hoops.

England U20s front rower Dawe, considered an exciting Academy prospect, joined from Plymouth Albion in the summer of 2016.

Both players have agreed extensions until the end of the 2017/18 season.

“We’re pleased that these guys have committed their futures to Bristol Rugby. Olly [Robinson] has proven himself as a top flight performer, while Ollie [Dawe] is showing great progress with the Academy,” Head Coach Mark Tainton told bristolrugby.co.uk.

“Both have bought into the vision that we have and they are excited about what the future holds for Bristol Rugby. We’re pleased that we will retain them both as part of our plans moving forward and there will be more announcements to follow over the next few weeks.”
