Super Sunday
If you are a Mini or Junior rugby player, the Super Sunday matchday experience is a fantastic day out for you and your team mates.

The Bristol Rugby Community Department will come to your home ground and stage a 2 hour custom designed coaching seminar for the entire mini and/or junior section on the morning of a Bristol Rugby Guinness Premiership home fixture.

Whether you want to work generally on your team's attack, defence, set or broken field play, we have drills to help; if you want to get more specific and look at pass or tackle technique, no problem - you name it, and more often than not, we can cover it.

Although we always look to evolve our Super Sunday sessions, the most popular 2 hour clinic we run is a 5 station rotation looking at individual and small group attack, the tackle and tackle area, an SAQ workshop, the Kick, Pass, Run challenge from the Bristol Rugby Premiership Academy Camps and a games 'ladder' invented by one of the kids on the camps last summer.

After the 2 hours of coaching, every player attending the Super Sunday will receive an Evening Post goody bag packed with as much Bristol Rugby merchandise as we can lay our hands on and then it's off to the match.

After a shower, change and some refuelling, all the Super Sunday participants meet in the Family Enclosure of the Memorial Stadium at an hour before kick off in readiness of the pre-match parade.

The good news on a paternal/ maternal point of view is that each Super Sunday participant is allowed to bring two 'adults' too accompany them in the Family Enclosure at the discounted rate of just £15 each (a saving of £8 each, even if you buy in advance!).

The parade normally starts around 15 minutes before kick-off and it is where you get the chance to show off your club colours in front of up to 10,000 fans accompanied by some chat on your club provided by Bristol Rugby’s matchday announcer Richard 'my head is slick' Pitt.

Participants then form the legendary tunnel of honour for the Bristol Rugby and opposition players to run through on their way out for kick-off.

After enjoying watch Bristol Rugby take on the best teams in the land, participants normally 'loiter with intent' outside the players tunnel gathering as many autograph's (and begging as much kit) from the players of both teams as they can.

The price of a Super Sunday is £15 per participant and £15 per adult (with 2 adults allowed per child).  The Super Sunday remains a fantastic one day matchday experience that your players will remember for a very long time to come, as anyone from the mini and junior section that have participated so far in 2007/08 season can truly vouch for.
