Andy Miller, Interbrew UK, said: "Bass Ale is the perfect partner for Bristol Rugby with 22% of the ale sold in the South West. We know that rugby union is enjoying huge popularity and the sponsorship is set to benefit both parties through additional support activity as the club starts the forthcoming season back in the Premiership division." |

Nigel Pomphrey, Director of Bristol Rugby, added:
"This is marvellous news. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mitsubishi for their support over the last four years, and we are proud of the help we have been able to provide to their marketing effort." "Bass is an excellent brand to be associated with - I have been drinking it for the last 30 years - and we already have some exciting plans in place to benefit everyone involved. Bass is a really strong brand in Bristol, and we believe it is an excellent partner to help take the club forward." |
