Wallace: The Hard Work Is Paying Off
Full back delighted to be back
Jack Wallace believes the hard work is paying off, as Bristol Rugby prepare for the Greene King IPA Championship clash with Nottingham on Sunday (3pm KO).
"We know that there is still plenty of challenges to come and a lot of hard work still to do"
The full back – who has made two appearances from the replacements bench since recovering from long-term injury – insists there will be no complacency among the squad.
“It’s great to have a couple of good wins under our belt and we’re moving in the right direction,” Wallace told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“But we know that there is still plenty of challenges to come and a lot of hard work still to do to ensure we finish in the top four.
“We showed against Bedford that, even when things weren’t going our way, we can knuckle down and turn a game around.
“That’s a testament to the quality in the squad and the willingness of the players to work hard for one another.
“Nottingham on Sunday will be another tough game for us. We go there full of confidence and focusing on our game and the improvements we need to make.
“From a personal point of view, it’s great to be back on the field and involved in the matchday squad. I’m really enjoying playing and focused on the task ahead at Meadow Lane.”
