Robinson makes one change to line-up

Andy Robinson makes one change to the line-up as Bristol Rugby visit unbeaten Newcastle Falcons on the final day of the RFU Championship campaign (3pm KO).

The Director of Rugby keeps faith with the majority of players that earned a bonus point win at London Scottish as his side bid for a place in the play-offs.

Iain Grieve returns as skipper in place of Redford Pennycook, who misses out with a hip injury.

To stand any chance of a top-four finish, Bristol must beat table-topping Falcons and hope other results go their way.

Ever-present centre Luke Eves starts alongside Fautua Otto in the midfield, while Jon Goodridge – who bagged a brace against the Exiles – remains at full back.

In the pack, Jason Hobson continues in the front row, while Mariano Sambucetti will look to extend his prolific try-scoring form – the lock has three tries in the last three games.

Robinson retains a four forwards and three backs split on the replacements bench, with Mitch Eadie coming into the 22-man squad.

Bristol Rugby team to face Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park on Saturday, 20 April (3pm KO):

Jon Goodridge; George Watkins, Fautua Otto, Luke Eves, Ryan Edwards; Adrian Jarvis, Ruki Tipuna; Kyle Traynor, Ross Johnston, Jason Hobson, Mariano Sambucetti, Glen Townson, Iain Grieve (c), James Merriman, Marco Mama.

Replacements: Rhys Lawrence, Bruce Douglas, Roy Winters, Mitch Eadie, James Grindal, Tristan Roberts, Jack Tovey.
