Foundation gearing up for cycle race

Preparations for the 2013 ‘Break The Cycle’ event are well underway, as teams from across the city prepare for the charity bike ride on Saturday, June 1.

The one-hundred mile event between Bath, Gloucester and Bristol is a vital source of funding for the charity, with over one-hundred cyclists taking part in 2012.

“The event is now in its third year and, alongside the Foundation, has grown significantly,” said Ben Breeze.

“In 2012, the funds raised ensured the future of our TAG rugby programme, which provides sporting provision for thousands of young people throughout the Bristol Rugby catchment area.
