Rugby fans across the city are being asked to share their memories of the famous Bristol versus Bath local derby - and in the process be entered into a free prize draw for the chance to win signed memorabilia, match tickets and other goodies.
In support and recognition of Bristol Rugby Community Foundation’s Golden Memories programme, supported by the Bristol Sport Foundation, the Aviva Premiership clash against Bath Rugby on Sunday 26th February will be the first ‘Memories Game’ at Ashton Gate.
Whether a fan, a former player or a local resident - simply email your memories, history and shared stories to email@example.com
Programme manager, Kris Tavender said: “Our Golden Memories programme has really allowed us to have a huge impact on a very isolated area of our local community.
“We look forward to hearing people’s memories of this famous fixture, as well as seeing people showing their support for this very important programme.”
Golden Memories is a collaborative programme run in partnership with Sporting Memories Foundation, aimed at providing support sessions for adults challenged by social isolation, depression, loneliness and living with dementia, through a programme of reminiscence sessions and light physical activity.
