Exiles in fifth position

London Scottish find themselves one place outside the top four of the Greene King IPA Championship ahead of the final game of the regular season versus Bristol (3pm KO).

Although the play-off places are now out of reach, the Exiles can be pleased with their highest-ever Championship finish since promotion from National One at the beginning of the 2011/12 season.

London Scottish - who have never beaten Bristol in the Championship - will look to build on back-to-back victories over Bedford Blues (19-15) and Jersey (25-17).

Miles Mantella touched down in the victory at St Peter for his seventeen try of the campaign, putting the winger joint top of the scoring charts alongside George Watkins.

James Buckland's side have enjoyed strong home form at the Richmond Athletic Ground, losing only twice to promotion hopefuls Rotherham (23-24) and London Welsh (21-32).

Former Bristol prop Mark Irish is among the London Scottish ranks, while Chevvy Pennycook - brother of Redford - continues to impress in the Exiles' back row.
