Pennycook To Leave Bristol Rugby
Flanker to depart the Club
Redford Pennycook has left Bristol Rugby following the termination of his contract by mutual consent.
“Red has been a good servant for Bristol and we wish him all the best"
The homegrown flanker has found first-team opportunities hard to come by during the 2013/14 campaign, making eleven appearances and scoring twice.
In his second spell with the Club, since progressing through the Academy, Pennycook has made a total of ninety appearances.
“As with all our players, it’s vital that they are playing regular first team rugby for their personal development,” Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“We couldn’t guarantee Redford those opportunities at Bristol, so it’s right that he has the opportunity to seek game-time elsewhere.
“Red has been a good servant for Bristol and we wish him all the best in his future career.”
