Players to attend official pre-match venue

A Gloucester Road café will launch as an official Bristol Rugby pre-match venue on Sunday, ahead of the RFU Championship clash with Rotherham on Sunday (3pm KO).

Bubalu, a unique health and fitness bar located just ten minutes from the Memorial Stadium, will open its doors to supporters and families with a series of events and prizes to be won.

Skipper Iain Grieve and Bryan Rennie will attend the launch from 12.30pm onwards to take part in a Q&A, sign autographs and challenge supporters in some fun challenges.

As well as offering fitness classes, the café – which includes a spin studio and personal training area – serves fresh, nutritional food and drink.

“We’re big supporters of Bristol Rugby and this is a great way to support our local Club,” said Bubalu owner Mike Bowen.

“Bubalu is a health and fitness business like no other. Our motto is "Fitness, Food and Fun" and we always want to break the mould on fitness and healthy living by injecting as much fun and inspiration into things as possible.

“We’ll have Bristol flags outside and footage of games playing, so we’re hoping to create a great atmosphere. I’d encourage as many supporters and families to come down and get involved.”
