Two members of Bristol Ladies represented Wales last weekend in a non-capped international against Spain.

Fly half Elinor Snowsill and scrum half Sian Moore played in the Six Nations preparations clash, with Wales grinding out a 7-0 victory. Former Bristol duo Isobel Rico and Elena Redondo turned out for Spain.

“It was great to have the opportunity to play together as a squad before going into the Six Nations,” said Snowsill, who notched a conversion. “It was also the perfect opportunity for uncapped players to show the coaches what they can do.”

Meanwhile, Claire Molloy has been named in Ireland Women’s Six Nations squad.

The forward was also included in the Scrum Queens Ultimate Team of 2012, while Marlie Packer and Sophie Hemming received special mentions.

Bristol Ladies travel to bottom-of-the-table Thurrock on Sunday, before returning to action at the Portway versus Lichfield on Sunday, 20 January.
