Johnston Receives Five Week Ban Following Dismissal
Hooker charged after red card offence versus Clifton
Ross Johnston has received a five-week ban following his dismissal in the pre-season clash with Clifton RFC on Sunday, 1 September.
The hooker pleaded guilty to the charge of a tip-tackle, contrary to law 10.4.j.
The ban will begin on September 13 and Johnston is free to play again on October 19.
He is required to pay £250 towards hearing costs.
The panel comprised of Daniel White (Chairman), Mike Curling and Nick Dark.
Bristol Rugby Club are considering their position at this time.
