Latest in the stadium redevelopment

Bristol Sport has launched the first footage from the £45 million pound Ashton Gate stadium rebuild.

As work kicks off on the stadium development project Bristol Sport has unveiled images from inside the ground.

A time lapse camera was installed by Bristol-based company Lobster Pictures above the Atyeo stand before works began, capturing images from before the first piece of turf was cut. With the new Desso pitch installed the footage shows the work required to get to this stage and will also show the demolition of the Wedlock stand.

A second time lapse camera featuring a reverse angle of the demolition will be installed within the coming weeks.

Supporterss can browse through images from the start of the work to the very latest stages. Footage will be updated every 15 minutes on a 24 hour delay until completion.

Fans can also view a time lapse video which is updated once a week and will be broadcast by Bristol Sport on www.bristol-sport.co.uk.

The Lobster camera technology ensures that images are captured in high definition, 4k. The time lapse films will be a great way to view progress of the Ashton Gate development over the coming months.

All footage can be viewed at www.Bristol-Sport.co.uk, a holding site until the full site is launched later this year.

Lobster Pictures are a Bristol-based company who specialise in high definition time lapse cameras for construction projects.
