Grieve Set To Depart Bristol Rugby
Flanker to leave after nine years
Iain Grieve is set to depart Bristol Rugby at the end of the campaign.
“It’s been an honour to captain this great Club"
A product of the Academy, the 27 year-old is the longest-serving member of the current squad, having made his first team debut in 2005.
The tenacious back-rower captained Bristol Rugby for three seasons between 2010 and 2013.
Revered for his never-say-die attitude and commitment, Grieve made 126 first team appearances, touching down for twelve tries.
A product of Colston’s School, Grieve represented England at U19 and U21 level.
“I’ve had an incredible time at Bristol Rugby and would like to thank the supporters, coaching staff and team-mates for the backing they have shown me over the years,” Grieve told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“It’s been an honour to captain this great Club and I have always given 100% every time I have pulled on the jersey.
“I hold many happy memories of my time here and wish Bristol all the best for the future.”
