The centre joined from Newport Gwent Dragons in February until the end of the season, making ten appearances.

Hughes scored four tries, including a double over London Scottish on the last day of the regular Greene King IPA Championship season.

"I would like to thank the players, staff and fans for the fantastic support and warm welcome during my time with the Club," he told bristolrugby.co.uk.

"I never thought I would gain so many memories in such a short period of time. I wish Bristol all the best next season and hope they can achieve their aim of promotion."

Everyone at Bristol Rugby Club wishes Adam the best of luck at Sandy Park next season.
