Hall: Home Form Is Important To Us
Prop targeting positive home display
James Hall believes home form will be crucial if Bristol are to continue their top four challenge, when Plymouth Albion visit the Memorial Stadium on Sunday (3pm KO).
"To have nearly 7,000 fans watch us at the last league game was a great experience"
Currently fourth in a tightly congested Greene King IPA Championship, Bristol open their league account for the new year against James Shanahan’s men.
“We’re looking for a level of consistency in our performances, because we have a run of Championship games now which are important to us,” the prop told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“We’re working hard to prepare for Plymouth this weekend and the challenge that they will pose to us.
“We saw from the way that they played down at Brickfields that we can’t afford to start the game slowly – we need to set our stall out early.
“The support at the Memorial Stadium has been fantastic. To have nearly 7,000 fans watch us at the last league game was a great experience.
“We’re frustrated with the manner of the defeat versus Leeds last weekend, because we know we had the opportunities, so we’ll be looking to improve on our accuracy on Sunday.
“It’s about creating a winning environment and habit amongst the squad and that’s what we are trying to do.”
