Exiles have 100% league record

London Welsh have enjoyed a formidable start to the campaign following relegation from the Aviva Premiership last season.

Justin Burnell’s side are unbeaten in the Greene King IPA Championship so far, with six successive victories.

The Exiles – who retained a number of key players in the summer as well as adding the likes of England international Tom May - opened with a 23-14 defeat of Bedford Blues at Allianz Park.

Since then, London Welsh have claimed the scalps of Nottingham (46-19), Plymouth (40-9), Rotherham (32-27), Cornish Pirates (41-6) and a 31-24 victory over Leeds Carnegie last weekend.

Talismanic fly half Gordon Ross is the second highest points scorer in the league so far, with 86 points already to his name.

Following Sunday’s clash, Welsh face bottom club Ealing (17 Nov), Moseley (23 Nov) and Bedford Blues (30 Nov).
