Braley: Cup Is A Big Opportunity
Scrum half relishing Leeds clash
Callum Braley is targeting the B&I Cup as an opportunity to make his mark when Bristol Rugby face Leeds on Sunday (3pm KO).
“It’s a big opportunity to play in front of the coaches and show them what we can do"
The talented scrum half – who helped England to the Junior World championship title in the summer – is relishing the chance to run out at the Memorial Stadium.
“The competition is a good chance for me and the other younger guys to play with a Bristol shirt on – which is huge for us,” he told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“It’s also a big opportunity to play in front of the coaches and to try and show them what we can do and that we’re capable to play at a high level.
“I used to come to the Community Foundation Super Sundays as a kid, so when I’m running out with Bristol Rugby and I see those kids watching me and the boys play, it’s a great feeling.
‘We’re expecting a really tough game with Leeds. They’ve got plenty of talented players who can cause us problems.
“We want to keep the momentum and winning run going and start the B&I Cup competition off with a positive performance.”
