Bristol open their pre-season preparations against Bath at the Recreation Ground on Saturday (3pm KO).
Former Bath Rugby back-rower Ben Skirving is one of a number of new faces, while Mark Sorenson (Northampton Saints), Charlie Amesbury (Sale Sharks), James Hall (Newcastle Falcons), Nicky Robinson (Wasps), Ben Mosses (Bath), Andy Short (Worcester), Ollie Hayes (Worcester), Jack Wallace (Wasps), Errie Claassens (Worcester) and Rupert Freestone (unattached) have also been added.
Bristol have added four players to the Academy, as Auguy Slowik (Filton), Nick Carpenter (Filton), Jack Hughes (Filton) and Ellis Genge (Hartpury) join as first year members.
Robinson has also welcomed Sean Holley to his coaching staff, with the former Ospreys Head Coach taking on the role of First Team Coach.
Matt Ferguson (Forwards Coach) remains in position for his second full season with the Club, while Matthew Sherratt continues to oversee the attack.
James Grindal has been appointed Club Captain ahead of the new campaign. The former Leicester scrum half – who joined Bristol Rugby in the summer of 2012 – takes on the ambassadorial role after being voted for the position by his team-mates.
Following this afternoon’s meeting with local rivals Bath, Bristol take on Aviva Premiership outfit Exeter Chiefs, before rounding off the pre-season preparations against Clifton RFC.
