Seven Academy players to be dual-registered

Seven members of the Bristol Rugby Academy have been dual-registered ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.

First year Academy scholars Nick Carpenter and Auguy Slowik are dual-registered with Clifton RFC, while Ellis Genge will be dual registered with Hartpury RFC.

England U20s scrum half Callum Braley and Steve Uren – both in their second years with the Academy – are also dual registered with Clifton RFC.

Jack Hughes and Joe Joyce are dual-registered with fellow National Two South side Dings Crusaders, while Will Davis has agreed a season-long loan move to Coventry in National One.

"We are looking for all of the players to go out to their Dual Registered clubs and make an impact through the professionalism with which they train and the level of their performances on a Saturday,” said Academy Manager Mike Hall.

“The standard of the National leagues has increased massively over the last couple of seasons; it is a very good test of these young players ability and their potential to push on to play at a higher level."

Auguy Slowik - Clifton RFC (Nat 2 South)
Steve Uren - Clifton RFC (Nat 2 South)
Callum Braley - Clifton RFC (Nat 2 South)
Ellis Genge - Hartpury RFC (Nat 2 South)
