Players Set For Military Camp
First team squad head to Chepstow army base
Bristol Rugby’s first team squad will visit Beachley Army Barracks, near Chepstow, on Thursday for two days of intensive military training.
“It will give us an idea about the potential leaders in the group"
As preparations gather pace ahead of the pre-season friendly schedule in August, the players are set to face a grueling event that will test their fitness, decision making skills and team work.
“Military training is a great way for the squad to learn about each other and bond as a team,” explained Head of Fitness Lee Douglas.
“With a number of new players in the squad, this is a good opportunity for guys to get to know each other and learn more about one another.
“It will give us an idea about the potential leaders in the group, as well as providing some variation from the usual training schedule.”
