101 mile cycle ride on Sunday

Break The Cycle - the Bristol Rugby Community Foundation's flagship fundraising event - will take place on Sunday, 1 June.

Over 150 cyclists from across the city in the Bristol Rugby Community Foundation’s annual ‘Break The Cycle’ event.

There is still time to sign up and, with good weather expected on the weekend, you can turn up at the Memorial Stadium on Sunday, 1 June with £30 for a 7.30am departure.

The players will ride from the Memorial Stadium, to Bath’s Recreation Ground, onto Gloucester’s Kingsholm and back to the Mem to raise funds for the Foundation.

“We’re delighted with the support we have had for the Break The Cycle event,” said Foundation CEO Ben Breeze. “This is our fourth year of Break The Cycle and our biggest event yet.

"In tough financial times, events like these are crucial to ensure that the Foundation can continue it's award-winning work with young people in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

“I’d encourage as many supporters to come down and cheer the teams off bright and early on Sunday, as we set off from the Mem at 7.30am.”
