Eleven players set to leave the Club
Eleven players will leave the Club when their contracts expire at the end of the 2012/13 RFU Championship season.
Director of Rugby Andy Robinson has held a series of individual meetings with squad members as he lays down plans ahead of the new campaign.
Long-serving prop Wayne Thompson heads the list of players leaving the Memorial Stadium in the summer.
Thompson has made 151 competitive outings for Bristol Rugby, putting him seventh in the Club’s all-time appearance list.
Academy front rower Tom Channon will move to Cornish Pirates and Mike Tagicakibau will rejoin Saracens.
Meanwhile, George Biagi, David McIlwaine and Alafoti Faosiliva – all of whom joined at the start of the season – are also set for departures.
Other players leaving are Matthew Jones, Tom Slater and Matt Williams, while Jon Goodridge will retire from professional rugby at the end of the season.
