EPDG centre plays in 82-8 defeat of Portugal

Lucas Slowik helped England U18s retain their FIRA crown as Head Coach John Fletcher’s men saw off France 27-22 in front of 15,000 fans at Stade de Alpes last weekend.

The Bristol EDPG centre received his cap from RFU Junior Vice-President Jonathan Dance (pictured) after featuring in the 82-8 opening victory over Portugal.

Unfortunately, Slowik was concussed during the game and was unavailable for the remainder of the tournament.

England went on to beat Scotland 25-12, before tries from flanker Matt Bolwell, centre Nick Tompkins and prop Paul Hill secured a final win over a strong French outfit in Grenoble.
