Pennycook: We Need A Big Response
Flanker calls for big performance at St Peter

Redford Pennycook admits Bristol cannot afford any errors ahead of Saturday’s RFU Championship clash with Jersey (3pm KO).
Three points adrift of a place in the top four, Robinson’s men head to St Peter looking to end a run of two successive league defeats.
“We’ve worked hard to put things right this week in training, because Saturday is a crucial game for us and we need a big response,” said the flanker.
“Moseley was a hugely disappointing result, because the boys went there full of confidence, it’s a missed opportunity to climb the league but it hasn’t changed our mindset.
“We have it all to do, but if we can regain some form then we will still be in the mix come the end of the season. At this stage, we have to take it one game at a time and not think about the play-offs.
“All we can do is perform as well as we can, and hopefully the results will look after themselves.
“Jersey present another huge challenge for us. They have a strong record at home and we have a lot of respect for what they can do.
“It’s up to us to deliver a performance that we know we can, and start picking up some points. We’re a tight-knit group at Bristol and there’s a massive confidence in what we’re capable of – now we have to prove it on the pitch.”
