Eadie: We're Relishing Moseley Test
Back-rower eager to get back to winning ways
Mitch Eadie is determined to help Bristol return to winning ways against Moseley on Friday (7.45pm KO).
Liam Middleton’s side - who have never won at Billesley Common in the RFU Championship – will look to get back on track following defeat to Nottingham in the last league outing.
“We haven’t won up there before, but that’s a challenge we’re relishing and a record that we want to end,” said the talented no.8.
“After the disappointment of last Friday, the boys have got their heads down in training and worked hard – we’ll be ready to go again this weekend.
“There’s still plenty of confidence among the squad, one defeat won’t change that. We played some good rugby at times, but things didn’t go our way. Now, it’s up to us to put things right at Billesley Common and get back on track.
“We won’t be taking Moseley lightly. They showed earlier in the season how dangerous they can be, so we’ll need to be on the money to bag the points.
“We’re taking it week by week, but we still firmly believe that we can achieve a place in the play-offs. It’s important that we make it count on Friday night.
“Bristol always bring a big following to Moseley, so it’ll feel like a home game for us – we can use that support to our advantage.”
