Academy U14s Play First Competitive Fixture
Bristol lose to Gloucester Academy U14s
Bristol Academy U14s came together for the first time in a competitive fixture, going down to a Gloucester Academy U14s outfit last week.
"This was about giving an opportunity to some of our U14s Development Group to see them play in a competitive game,” said Academy Manager Mike Hall.
“It was a shame the conditions were so poor, but myself and the two coaches, Mark Bishop and Neil Loader, were delighted by the way in which the players went about representing Bristol Rugby Club.
“They did everything that was asked of them, it was just a shame we couldn't finish off one or two of the chances that we created. There will be further games for the U14s, giving us another opportunity to see more players from the group in a competitive game environment.”
