Robinson: I'm Excited By Club's Ambition
Fly half delighted to seal Bristol Rugby move
Nicky Robinson spoke of his excitement at the ambition of Bristol Rugby after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal on Thursday.
The fly half – who joins from London Wasps – has vowed to help the Club achieve their target of Aviva Premiership status.
“I’m excited about the project at Bristol Rugby and the future that lies ahead,” Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“With Liam [Middleton] and Andy Robinson at the helm, it’s a bright future and a great time to be involved with Bristol.
“It’s not just the ambition to be in the Premiership, it’s the long-term vision of where Liam and the owners wants the Club to be.
“It’s a huge challenge, but something that excites me and something that I’d like to be a part of. I’m still massively ambitious and there are things I want to achieve in the game.
“Bristol has a famous history and the rugby club is a huge part of the city – I’d be proud to represent them and contribute to the team and the goals they have set.
“I’m under no illusions about the scale of the task ahead. It doesn’t matter if Bristol are Championship or Premiership next season, there will be some tough challenges to come.
“I’m looking forward to testing myself, developing my game, and helping the Club push on to the next level.”
