Pennycook Puts Pen To Paper On New Deal
Back-rower to remain at the Memorial Stadium

Bristol Rugby’s commitment to retaining homegrown talent continues with the announcement that Redford Pennycook will stay at the Memorial Stadium for the 2013/14 campaign.
The formidable back rower – an integral member of the first team this season – has made eighty-seven appearances for the Club, scoring eleven tries.
A product of the Bristol Academy, Pennycook made his first outing against Bath in 2005.
“Redford has been one of the stand-out individuals at the Club this season,” said Head Coach Liam Middleton. “His displays in a Bristol shirt have been impressive, and his man of the match performance on Friday against Leeds showed his quality. He has the ability to perform consistently at a high level.”
“Redford fits the ‘Bristol Fashion’ vision and importantly understands what it means to represent Bristol Rugby.”
Pennycook added: “I’m so pleased to commit to Bristol. There is plenty that I want to achieve in my career, and I’m confident that I can do it here.
“The coaching staff have developed a culture and environment that I’m excited about. Bristol Rugby are moving in the right direction and I’m relishing the prospect of contributing on the field.”
