Eadie: We're Full Of Confidence
Back-rower hopes to take momentum into Moseley
Mitch Eadie has urged his teammates to return to winning ways on the road when Bristol take on Moseley at Billesley Common on Saturday, 9 February (3pm KO).
Liam Middleton’s men – who do not have a fixture this week - have won only twice in the league away from home this season, a record that Eadie is determined to improve in 2013.
“Our form away from the Memorial Stadium has been a little bit inconsistent, but we’re confident that we can turn it around and start building some momentum over the coming weeks,” the back-rower told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“We have eight games remaining this season and five of them are on the road, so it’s crucial that we can pick up points because it’s so tight at the top of the RFU Championship table.
“Everybody is really looking forward to the challenge on Moseley next Saturday. We’ll use this free weekend to prepare and recuperate, and hopefully we’ll be fit and firing for a tough game at Billesley Common.
“The win over Leeds has given us so much confidence. It was an important result and one that could have a big impact on our season. The conditions didn’t make life easy for either side, but we stuck to the task and bagged a valuable four points.”
