Hobson Appeal Hearing Date Announced
Prop to face RFU panel on Tuesday, 29 January

Jason Hobson’s appeal hearing has been set for Tuesday, 29 January by the Rugby Football Union (RFU).
The prop was given a twelve-week ban for biting centre Bevon Armitage on the arm - an act contrary to good sportsmanship, contrary to Law 10.4(m) – during the RFU Championship fixture on Saturday, 24 November.
Hobson denies the charge and will have his appeal heard by an RFU disciplinary panel at Bristol Filton Holiday Inn.
Until the date of the appeal hearing, Hobson is eligible to play for Bristol Rugby.
The Panel will comprise Philip Evans (chair), Dr Julian Morris and William Harbage QC.
