Fly half targets Memorial Stadium victory

Adrian Jarvis is determined to help Bristol extend their unbeaten run at the Memorial Stadium when Rotherham Titans visit on Sunday (3pm KO).

Liam Middleton’s men haven’t suffered defeat at home since late September, winning seven successive fixtures in all competitions.

“Our home form has improved a lot and it’s helped us to build some momentum and pick up some crucial points when we needed them,” said the fly half.

“It’s been a little frustrating not having any fixtures for the last couple of weeks, so the guys are itching to get back out there on Sunday and we’re looking forward to playing some rugby.

“Rotherham are a tough side and we know what they’re about after our loss at Clifton Lane earlier in the season. It’s so important that we get out of the traps quickly and start well, as we did against Leeds.

“The RFU Championship is so tight now, we can’t afford any slip-ups. All we can do is concentrate on our own performances and keep picking up wins.

“We can’t look too far ahead, so it’s just a case of focusing our attention on Rotherham and putting in a good performance in front of our home crowd.”
