Eves: B&I Cup Is Important To Us
Centre relishing B&I Cup clash with Bridgend
Luke Eves has set his sights on a fourth successive win in all competitions when Bristol travel to Bridgend in the B&I Cup on Saturday (2.30pm KO).
And the centre, who has been ever-present for the Club in a fine campaign so far, believes the competition is important to Bristol’s ambitions this season.
“We’ve started to turn a corner since the defeat against Nottingham and we’re putting together a good run of form now.
“Our second half performance against London Scottish showed what we can do and now it’s a case of emulating that form on a regular basis.
“There’s a great mood in the camp at the moment and everybody is really enjoying their rugby. We’re taking each game as it comes and trying to build on our performances week on week.
“We’re two from two in the B&I Cup so far, so we’re looking forward to Saturday and hopefully continuing our decent run in the competition.
“There’s always a bit of extra spice with an Anglo-Welsh derby and Bridgend will be a really strong side – we’ve got to be ready for a tough challenge.”
