Bristol Ladies’ first and second teams enjoyed another fantastic weekend, as both sides picked up victories to continue their stunning starts to the campaign.
The first team – who overcame Saracens 29-0 at the Portway Development Centre – are currently in the top four of the RFU Women’s Premiership, while the second team remain top of the table and undefeated.
In a fiery encounter, Bristol Ladies first XV sealed a bonus-point victory, despite losing Claire Molloy, Izzy Noel-Smith and Amber Reed to the sin-bin.
The hosts notched tries through Kate Hancock, Rachel Taylor, Marlie Packer, Claire Molloy and Amy Wilson-Hardy.
Meanwhile, Bristol Ladies Second XV maintained their 100% start to the season with a narrow 20-17 defeat of Plymouth Albion.
In difficult conditions, Deb Flemming grabbed an impressive hat-trick to help Pete Reakes’ side to victory.
