Spire Bristol Hospital Boost Players' Recovery
Club partner provide treatment for injured squad members

Bristol’s players are back to full fitness ahead of the new season, thanks in part to Spire Bristol Hospital, The Glen.
The Glen, a long-serving partner of the Club, provided treatment for lock Roy Winters, scrum-half Ruki Tipuna and prop Jason Hobson during the summer break.
“Over the course of the season, rugby players battle through many aches and pains,” said Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services Dan Martin.
“At the end of the season, some of these pains need specialist reviews to ensure that they come back for the following campaign in better shape than the previous season.
"The consultants at Spire Bristol Hospital have provided an exemplary service to our squad and allow the physical performance team at Bristol Rugby to achieve excellent results with our squad.
“Having access to fantastic diagnostics and other hospital facilities is key for us, and I believe that we will continue to see some superb results because of the expertise of The Glen and the local Orthopaedic team.”
Rob Anderson, Spire Bristol Hospital Director, added: “We’re delighted to be a long-term partner and supporter of Bristol Rugby and that we can continue to develop that relationship, particular in the area of sports medicine where we are a leading centre.
"Inevitably, given the physical demands of the game, we also see some of the players with our specialists supporting the players in the management and rehabilitation of injuries.
"Whilst we prefer not to need to welcome them to The Glen on such occasions, we are ready and willing to extend immediate and bespoke care so that they are able to return quickly to give Bristol Rugby the greatest possibility for success."
