Grieve Visits Bristol Primary School

Skipper talks to pupils at St Michaels School in Winterbourne

03rd July 2012 published by Tom Tainton

Iain Grieve visited pupils at St Michaels School in Winterbourne on Monday after receiving a letter from a student at the school.

The skipper answered questions from the children and presented a signed ball to Oliver, who wrote the letter.

"It was an honour to visit St Michaels School," said Grieve. "Oliver wrote me a letter explaining that he wanted to be a rugby player and asking for any tips.

"I wrote a letter back to him but I wanted to surprise Oliver and his schoolfriends by coming to meet them. Hopefully he'll remember the experience, I certainly won't forget being grilled by hundreds of schoolchildren!"
