Skipper says squad are focused on challenge ahead
Iain Grieve says his teammates are 'raring to go' ahead of the 2012/13 RFU Championship campaign.
The Bristol Rugby squad returned to training on Monday and kick off their pre-season schedule in early August.
"Everyone is delighted to be back," said the skipper. "There were so many positives to take from last season and, despite a disappointing end, we're definitely moving in the right direction.
"It's been good to see some new faces around the training ground and there's a real focus on the big challenge ahead.
"We feel as though we are well-equipped to make a big impact this season - we have made some quality additions too and they will add to the competitive nature of the squad.
"There's a great feeling about the place. We've carried the confidence from last season through the summer and returned with a fresh mindset. There is a lot of hard work between now and September when we kick off our campaign."
