Middleton: We Will Bounce Back
Head Coach insists Bristol Rugby will return stronger next season

Liam Middleton believes that Bristol Rugby will learn from their semi-final heartbreak and return stronger next season.
Bristol beat Cornish Pirates 29-18 at the Memorial Stadium on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to overturn a 21-point first leg deficit.
“Last week we gave ourselves too much to do,” said the Head Coach. “There was enormous belief from the players throughout the week and they showed mental toughness.
“We won a semi-final yesterday, but only one leg of it. It was probably one try too far, although with five minutes remaining we could have still won it.
“The reflections we take from this season will be really important. The Club is moving forward in the right direction and we have fantastic support.”
Remaining unbeaten at home throughout the entire campaign, Bristol scored four tries against the Penzance outfit in front of a bumper crowd.
Middleton commented: “It was a great game today. I was hugely disappointed at full time but we’re bouncing back and I’m excited about the future.
“My role is to build and develop the Club over a three year period. You can’t fast-track success. We will return to the Premiership and it will be at the right time.”
