U16s take on unbeaten Weston Hornets on Friday night
A Bristol Combination U16s side featuring a number of Bristol EPDG members will take on unbeaten Weston Hornets on Friday evening at Broad Plain RFC (7pm KO).
Bristol duo Darren Barry and George Watkins will put the 22-man squad through their paces at the Combo’s one and only training session this evening, taking place at Broad Plain from 6.45pm.
‘We’re under no illusions as to the size of the task in front of us when we take on Hornets,” said Combination Manager Cherry Hall.
“They have been together for a long time, and have had a fantastic season, while we will only have one session as a group.
“But we have assembled a very talented squad made up of players from eleven Combination clubs. Hopefully, we can give Hornets a decent game on Friday."
