Supporter's Club Secretary raising money for SWALLOW
Paul Jordan, the secretary of Bristol Rugby Supporter’s Club, is running the Bath Half-Marathon on Sunday for charity.
SWALLOW (South West Action for Learning and Living Our Way), is based in Midsomer Norton, Somerset and supports people with learning disabilities.
The aim of the charity is to promote independence and equality for its members, enabling them to gain vital skills and experiences required to live their lives as they choose.
“I choose to run for SWALLOW as I really enjoying running,” explained Jordan.
“I’ve run several half-marathons in the past, but decided that this year I should make my run more worthwhile.
“I had initially hoped to raise £200, but thanks to the generosity of friends and Bristol Rugby supporters, I am already past the £500 mark.”
