Head Coach speaks to live audience at BBC Sports Forum
Liam Middleton revealed that Bristol Rugby have a strategy in place ahead of the RFU Championship play-offs.
Speaking at the BBC Radio Bristol Sports Forum on Thursday evening, the Head Coach said he had full confidence in his players.
Bristol make the long journey north to face Doncaster Knights at Castle Park tonight in their first Pool A fixture.
“The play-offs are incredibly tough for any side,” admitted Middleton. “We need to approach this stage of the season with a plan A and a plan B.
“We have been in this position before two years ago – and we were in the promotion play-offs last season too – so we know what to expect.
“I feel that we are getting closer to mastering the game that we want to play and I’m confident that our squad can deliver when the pressure is on.
“We have core values at the Club and the players need to meet those values – on and off the field.
“It’s critical that we have the right characters and personalities in the squad to help us achieve our goals.”
