Otto: We're Prepared For Moseley Challenge
Centre looking forward to playing following Friday's postponement
Fautua Otto insists preparations for Moseley have not been affected, despite the game being rearranged for Sunday (3pm KO).
The fixture, initially scheduled for last Friday, fell victim to heavy frost as the severe weather conditions played havoc with the RFU Championship calendar.
“It was frustrating because everybody was excited about playing,” said the centre. “We played well against Rotherham Titans and we were hoping to continue that with another good performance a week later.
“It won’t have too much of an effect of the boys, though. We prepare well for every game and this one is no different.
“Moseley are the only team that we haven’t beaten at least once this season, so there is something extra riding on Sunday’s game.”
The Samoan has proved a revelation since joining up with the squad in November, making eleven appearances since his debut against Neath and scoring six tries.
“I’m really enjoying being with Bristol,” he added. “It’s a great city and my teammates have helped me to settle in quickly.
“Playing at the Memorial Stadium is a very special experience because of the noise and support. I’m pleased that we are in a strong position in the table and I want to help us push on into the play-offs.”
Supporters can purchase tickets for Sunday’s game via the official website, over the phone on 0871 208 2234 or at the Club Shop (opening hours 10am-4pm).
