Tovey: We Want To Beat Every Team Once
Winger eager for Bristol to continue formidable home form
Jack Tovey has urged his teammates to continue their winning form at the Memorial Stadium when Moseley visit the West Country on Friday (7.45pm KO).
Bristol have confirmed a spot in the top-four but Tovey insists there is still much to play for ahead of the end of season play-offs.
“We want to beat every team at least once,” said the 21 year-old. “If we do that, we can approach the play-offs with a mental edge.
“Moseley have been a bit of a bogey team for us this year. We’ve lost to them in the B&I Cup at home, and at Billesley Common in the league.
“We’ve yet to beat them so it adds some extra spice to Friday evening because we’re desperate to get another win under our belts."
The winger, who has started every RFU Championship game this season, says he is eager to play again after scoring his eighth try of the campaign last Sunday.
“I’m enjoying my rugby at the moment and playing regularly, which is great,” he said.
“It’s a really close-knit squad at the moment, with everybody working towards the same goals, so it’s a positive environment to be involved in."
