VACANCY: Bristol Ladies Team Manager
Team Managers required for first and second teams
Are you passionate about rugby? Do you enjoy watching a high standard of rugby and being involved in all aspects of rugby club life? Would you like the opportunity to be part of an exciting, up and coming women’s rugby club?
‘Best In The West’ Bristol Ladies have two teams currently in the RFUW Premiership and Championship South West. We have two new positions for volunteers in the club and are looking for someone who could offer approximately ten hours a week as a team manager.
These roles are up for grabs with immediate effect. Anyone wanting to be involved with the club as a team manager would have a highly active and high profile role.
You would be working alongside our hardworking and enthusiastic club captain, committee, coaching staff and a wealth of players from beginners to Internationals.
Responsibilities for a team manager are split, with some ‘behind the scenes’ jobs during the week e.g. confirming availability of: players, pitches, opposition kit colour, kick off time, referees and catering.
Then a ‘hands on’ role on match days (Sundays) ensuring that everything is organised and ready for your team e.g. preparing the changing rooms with signs and kit, setting up the pitches and supporting the coaches by having warm up resources ready. The successful applicant can relax and enjoy the rugby before submitting the results and statistics.
